Replacement trigger spring for Scotts^® brand pump sprayer

Recently noticed when trying to spray my yard that the trigger on my Scotts^® brand pump sprayer (marked as P16D) was no longer working. The spray was simply always on and would not turn off. Discovered that somehow the spring inside the trigger was missing. I probably opened it and lost it at some point.

Went looking online for a replacement or at least information about the correct size spring to get but couldn't find anything. I ended up buying a variety pack of springs at home depot and was able to find one that fit and works well. I ended up using what appears to be an 11/32" x 1" spring if my measurements are correct. Probably not what was originally in there, but it works.
